mass and optimizes the reaction of the shaft at impact to do what you need it to

A cue's pivot point is the bridge length at which you can hit the cue ball
off center and still hit the one ball dead center. A longer pivot point allows
you to have a longer stroke and therefore to generate more speed. The BK2's
pivot point has been tuned between 13" and 14" for maximum
forgiveness.
